A Time For War

Yes! Finally, a new deviation. ^^ Although I kind of cheated you guys. You can't see any recent progress through this drawing, because this is originally quite old. So if you were hoping to see how I've progressed, sorry. I'll try to get some other stuff up maybe.
It's at least a year old since I started it, so there are a lot of flaws in terms of anatomy and stuff. In fact, the anatomy. Is. Awful. >>___<<; I'm sorry about any pain that might cause any of you.
I was excited about it, so the sketch was finished pretty quickly, and I was very proud of it at the time. I think it may be one of the only full-page works I've done. I just hung on to it hoping I'd get good enough to do something with it.
Well, I almost thought I'd lost it, and that scared me, and I figured I'd better hurry the heck up and do something with it before I either A. really lost it or B. got "too good for it". I still don't want to color it. Maybe someday I'll be skilled enough. So it'll stay ink for now.
It's very strange, the way I feel about this drawing-- I still like it quite a lot, and I'm proud of it, and I think it's good, but I know it sucks. Yeah, it's wierd. There are a lot of technical flaws. I know that, so I don't want advanced critique. But I also really like it and I spent a lot of time on it, so I do want advanced critique. @___@ I guess I'll leave it up to you guys-- write as much and as long as you feel like. Any comments are always appreciated.
It's pencil sketch, inked, and shaded again with pencil. Just the ink looked too harsh and bare. I drew the sketch when I was still going through my little fantasy-dragon-warrior phase a while back. The title for it totally stayed with me the whole time I was doing it. It's the goddess of war and her brother. (My original ones... because I don't think they really resemble any real mythological characters, but hey.) Sorry it's so complicated and busy. It looks better sketched, because I'm better at manipulating line thickness and overall look with pencil, but it looked too unfinished that way. Here it is. I hope you like it.
